The IIAW is part of the Agents & Brokers Education Networki (ABEN) which was created to offer professional training via live webcast technology. With ABEN CE, no test is required! The IIAW offers dozens of current, relevant topics via webcast/webinar format with new topics added on a regular basis. After completing a course, you will earn Wisconsin Continuing Education credits. The Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin's in-person and online prelicensing class is designed to help you pass your Wisconsin licensing exam by the quickest method of meeting the required prelicensing education hours. The IIAW licensing school has some of the highest passing ratios in the state for the last 25+ years. The in-person and online Wisconsin insurance agent licensing course provides everything you need to pass the exam including access to The Exam Simulator which is a computer program designed to help you pass your prelicensing exam on the first try. The IIABA Government Affairs team helps the independent insurance industry with its political efforts at the capitol in Washington D.C.. By supporting and lobbying on important and critical issues, the Big "I" Government Affairs team has helped the industry with many pressing issues while always keeping the independent agents interests at the forefront. The IIAW Government Affairs is supported by Lee Government Relations; a Wisconsin-based, multi-client lobbying firm specializing in influencing public policy to directly meet the needs of the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin. We are the Eyes, Ears and Voice for our clients at the State Capitol. Stay up-to-date on State and National Government Affairs updates. The IIAW's General Counsel is lead by the team at Godfrey & Kahn. The Association frequently receives member inquiries seeking advice that requires legal counsel. In many instances, the questions can be answered quickly by the experienced legal team at Godfrey & Kahn. The Association believes that extending Hotline Legal Services is a valuable addition to the extensive services available to Big "I" members.
