The Wisconsin OCI requires insurance agents in Wisconsin to complete 24 hours of continuing education credits with 3 of those credits being in ethics every 2 years. While there are many different options online for Wisconsin continuing education classes for insurance agents, the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin provides unique and attention-grabbing courses with its partnership with The Insititutes and ABEN. *Credits cannot be earned until NPN has been assigned and individual has an active intermediary license. You must have a Wisconsin resident intermediary license in order to earn CE credits. Nonresidents and non-Wisconsin licenses will not earn CE credits through our courses.

Go to iiaw.aben.tv to register!  You are required to create an account before registering for a course. After purchasing your ABEN webcasts, you will immediately receive a purchase confirmation that will contain instructions on testing your system and accessing your ABEN account. Additionally there will be 3 e-mail reminders send out prior to the event; 1 week, 1 day and 2 hours prior to the event! The same access instructions will be provided.  

For ABEN courses, each hour of CE credit is $28 for members, $40 for nonmembers.

The cost of IIABA/Big I Webinars varies and is listed on each individual webinar registration page. Most courses are $79 for Big I Members and $179 for nonmembers.


 
For ABEN courses, a registrant may reschedule a prior registration to another airing date of the class and if there is no other date that will work into your schedule, a refund can be processed. ABEN can also transfer your registration to someone else in your office. There is no penalty for these requests. The cancellation policy may differ for IIABA courses.


The webinars can be attended both by individuals and groups. 

Individual students
 will sign in and attendance is verified by the online course administrator. 

Multiple registered students can attend as a group by entering each name in the chat box and attendance is verified by the course administrator. You can attend in your home or office.
After the conclusion of the webinar and your attendance is verified by the course administrator, Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin will file your CE credit with SBS. You must have a Wisconsin resident license to earn CE credit.

NOTICE: Only Wisconsin residents are eligible for CE credit by completing our CE courses. It is each individual's responsibility to not repeat the same course more than once in a 2 year licensing period.
