COURSE TOPICS

Use of the Internet for communication purposes and to conduct business, create loss exposures that affect every business.  Most of the insurance coverage needed is not provided by the typical commercial property or liability policy.  This seminar will help participants understand the exposures that exist and the types of coverage available to insure the Internet based direct and indirect property, employee and non-employee cyber crime, and cyber related liability risks.  The program will take a systematic approach to Cyber Risk identification and apply possible solutions to real-life examples based on a variety of commercial clients and main street businesses with which agents work.  Cyber Risk Insurance, including Internet liability, network protection, and e-commerce policies will be examined.


INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY

Paul Burkett is the president and CEO of Snoaspen Insurance Group that provides risk management, training, expert witness services to agent E&O carriers. After serving as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, Paul began his insurance career with SAFECO that included loss control, sales representative, underwriting, and management responsibilities. Paul then moved to Frank B. Hall & Company as VP Risk Management Services responsible for alternative insurance programs such as pools, self-insurance, and captives. Certifications include: J.D., CIC, CRM, CPCU, ARM, ALCM

CONTINUING EDUCATION

This webinar course is approved for 3 hours of Wisconsin continuing education credit. Attendees must be present during the webinar to receive CE credits.

CANCELLATION POLICY
