This  course  analyzes insurance exposures faced by individuals who own and operate hobby and small farms including livestock, equipment, farm workers, or conduct a road-side stand or participate in a community-sponsored farmers market. Identify the extent of protection provided by the standard homeowner’s coverage forms and endorsements. The land and machinery create unique property and liability exposures that require individual attention and coverage. The two most common approaches insurance programs used by insurers are the AAIS Farm Owners Program and the ISO Farm Owners Program. Examine the significant property and liability type coverage forms and endorsements used in arranging the combination of personal and farm/business coverages these insureds require.
